How to spicy up your comments
Editing and Deleting Comments
It is possible to edit and delete comments on this blog. Unregistered users will be able to do this up to 3 hours after the comment is made, whereas registered users have no time limit.
If you are having trouble editing your comment, just refresh the page (press F5) and try again.
When you delete your comments, please note that all comments below yours will be renumbered and hence all comments that make references to specific comment numbers will then be wrong!
Smilies
Smilies are written in text, and are automatically changed to graphics when you submit the comment:
To ensure that the smiliey gets understood correctly place a space before and after it.
Quoted Text
If you want to insert a more fancy looking quoted text, you can write is as:

This the text I am quoting from someone

This will look like this when submitted in a comment:
Bold text
Bold text is written as: Peace and looks like this: Peace
Italics Text
Italics text is written as: Peace and looks like this: Peace
Underlined Text
Underlined text is written as: Peace and looks like this: Peace
Images
If this is used a lot I will find a much better way of inserting images, but for now this is how you can do it. Images are inserted by first finding an internet address for the picture you want to insert (you cannot directly insert pictures from your own PC as it is now).
Once you have located a picture e.g. using Googles Image search, then you right click on the image and select “Copy Shortcut” or “Copy image Location” (or what ever your browser calls it).
Now click on the “You can add images to your comment by clicking here.” link below the comment field. If you use Internet Explorer you may need to click on the Yellow popup bare to allow it to work, and then click the link again.
When you can see the input field paste the image URL in it (left click in the field and press <Ctrl>+V), e.g.
http://www.dregia.us/blog/uploaded_images/hurray.gif
It looks like this:

It is very important not to paste a very large image – there is no resizing done – select one that is less than around 700 pixels wide. Otherwise the blog will load very slowly, and the administrator will remove such images without warning to ensure proper operation of the blog (or reserve the right to edit the post with a resized version).
Happy blogging!
