Go watch the movie “Avatar” in 3D!

It is one of the most amazing movies I have seen in a long time. Critics say that the story is nothing new – this may be somewhat true, if you completely ignore the new planet you are being introduced to.

It is a visual amazing movie that is bound to instil compassion in even the most stubborn hearts. It is more an experience than a story, and I love it.

I don’t understand why Science Fiction movies have to live up to much higher standards than other movies, and always have to have an original story every time. If you boil movies down enough they are all basically about good fighting evil – even “The Matrix” had this theme. To me that is like saying that any great movie is nothing more than flickering lights on a screen – while that is true, it misses the whole point of watching a movie.

I usually don’t like long movies; however it didn’t seem long at all even though it lasted 2.5 hours.
